In addition to Trope and Trope's commitment to its clientele, our attorneys are dedicated to remaining active and devoting a significant part of their time to supporting many community organizations in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California.
Our attorneys are committed to volunteering their time and expertise in the law to a variety of nonprofit organizations that provide legal assistance to needy members of the community. Our attorneys volunteer at the following organizations:
- Harriet Buhai Center, which assists victims of domestic violence and families living in poverty
- Levitt & Quinn, which aims to provide affordable legal representation in family law matters for low-income families in the Los Angeles area
- Public Counsel, which is the largest pro bono law firm in the world, and provides free legal and social services to vulnerable members of the community
- Break the Cycle, a nonprofit organization providing preventive domestic violence education and free legal services to teenagers throughout Los Angeles County
In addition, our attorneys hold volunteer positions in a variety of civic institutions and legal associations, including serving as Judges Pro-Tem, as volunteer mediators for the Los Angeles Superior Court, and as arbitrators for the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Attorneys at Trope and Trope LLP are also involved in a myriad of community organizations and charities outside the practice of law, including Habitat for Humanity, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, brain cancer awareness groups, alumni associations of their respective undergraduate and graduate universities, and many local community events and groups related to their hobbies, interests, religious affiliations, and families.
