Professional History
Mr. Dunlap is a partner at Trope and Trope. He has been practicing law in
California since 1974 and joined the law firm of Trope and Trope in
1986. He is a certified Appellate Specialist (certified by the State
Bar of California Board Legal Specialization) and has been the lead
appellate specialist in numerous reported family law cases which have
established new principles in the area of family law.
In addition, Mr. Dunlap has authored various articles on family law issues
and appeared as a panelist at Symposia organized by the Los Angeles
Superior Court and other legal or professional groups interested in new
developments in family law. In addition, Mr. Dunlap volunteers as a
Judge Pro-Tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court and as a Fee
Arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Mr. Dunlap has been recognized as a Southern California "Super Lawyer" by Los Angeles Magazine commencing in 2005 and was included in "Best Lawyers in America" for 2007.
